Today or tomorrow likely ends another team sports school year
With baseball likely to lose game 1 or 2 at ACCT.
Only women’s soccer, wrestling, track, swimming and Softball had really any semblance of success
Hoping we get to see more next year 😕

VT will find a way to get that monkey off its back.

Its the closest team we have to being contenders and probably be one of the cheaper sports when it comes to NIL. Not saying we should do this but if want that Natty it would be our best bet.

VT may have better luck in soccer, tennis, golf, or adding a cheap sport like women's bowling.

And that was Florida, ten years ago. Oklahoma was a Big 12 member for all their recent titles.

titles compared to other factors (i.e. locations of the top softball recruits, region of the country where softball thrives at the lower levels, money/resources to entice top recruits to attend their schools, ability to play more home games during the regular season, ability to secure more regions in the postseason, etc.).

best pitcher in the sport and this team could win it all.

I mean we have won conference championships, and the satisfaction only lasts until the next season. If we had multiple national championships, I don't think my current satisfaction level regarding VT sports would be any different.

program to get to the top of the mountain. When club teams are able to win multiple national championships in multiple sports, then at some point then at some point it may raise the question if the leadership for the club programs know something that the leadership for NCAA athletics does not. Also, I'm not sure it is a good look when VT and I think K-State are the only schools from a "power conference" to never win a NCAA team national championship in any sport. Does VT really want to be the last school standing in that category?

Most VT sports programs in decline. We lack any drive at the top levels...AD, Prez, BOV. Just keep sending the checks. Status quo reigns. Old boy network of indifference.
FB a big disappointment, hope CBP can do better, but doubt it. Like the guy, but eventually got to start winning. Should never have hired rookie coordinators last year, big mistake. Maybe better this year ?

....I mean we had 20 returning starters last year, and totally fumbled that opportunity. I don't know how you turnover the entire roster AND the coaching staff and do better than last season.
Just being real, I think 2025 is brent-pry-year-one 2.0.
I don't even know how you build a team in this environment when the players minds are on their next stop, not the team they're on.

and softball. FB, not really expecting success, just hoping continued revenue success to support the Teams that have a chance

Not saying it’ll happen this year but that top 5 should be considered successful in the future
