Some PSU fan posted on Facebook yesterday predicting they'd win all 10
Classes. I told him as usual they are Legends in their own minds.

…definitely not winning 141 and likely not 285
Could win the other 8 weight classes…..

9 out of 10 isn't crazy. 8 out of 10 is almost chalk.

Zero chance at 141, and not everything is going to go perfectly elsewhere. Mesenbrink and Barr are huge favourites, and Levi to a slightly lesser extent. Everybody else is very beatable. 4 or 5 champs is a very reasonable prediction imo. I could even be convinced of 6, but that's about a best case scenario.

To be clear, I don't expect 9 out of 10. But has a single team ever had 7 #1 seeds before. I don't expect Blaze to win but he can beat anyone in the bracket on the right day, including Jax. They have 8 weight classes they can realistically either be favored in or have a realistically solid chance.
I expect them to win 5 - 157/165/174/184/197.

But my confidence isn't high enough that I would expect all those picks to hit. Like, gun to my head, I'm picking SVN at 149, but I also think he should be on upset watch. There is next to zero chance all 9 win. They would be disappointed based on their expectations, but 5 would an unreal tournament for them.

They aren't close to favorites at heavyweight. I don't see Blaze winning 133.
I think the number is 5.

25: Lilledahl, likely. Hoping Eddie gets it done, would be close if they meet, but I'll say yes
33: Blaze, possible, I'm going with no, too many other great ones, winner of Seidel/Jax wins it IMO
41: Davis, No
49: SVN, the favorite but a slow start against Joy won't work, I'll say no
57: Duke, wrestling his best, yes
65: Mesenbrink, yes
74: Haines, Minto and a few others have a shot, I'll say yes but close
84: Welsh, has an "easy" path to the final but Sinclair, McEnelly or even Ferrari if healthy, so I'll say no
97: Barr, yes
285: Mirasola, no
I got them with 5 champs which is still absurd. I wonder if we can entice them for a home at home. Not saying VT would win next year but it could be a legitimate out of conference challenge to them. They seem to cupcake schedule early season then wrestle tough B10 duals second semester. They also won't national dual so if we get invited they won't be there.

I've got them with 5 champs, could see 6. 7 would be crazy. Braeden Davis wins and I believe in supernatural forces powering PSU wrestling
