Hard to fault him for staying with his home state school and getting a big bag. Always thought it was a little far fetched for him to want to gray shirt this year and red shirt at VT next year (assuming EV is returning).
Looking like VT will need to hit the portal for a 125 starter for the 27-28 season unless I'm forgetting someone.

Assuming you're talking about Rozas & Coluccio. I was taking them into account. Both would be very young (RSFR & True FR) in a year VT is hoping to push for a team trophy. I'm just thinking that may be a spot to plug through the portal for a year if needed.

I would think at least one of them will develop into a pretty good wrestler for us. They will not be the immediate title contender that Rutgers is getting in Knox, but are all 3 good prospects. We've also got two more full cycles in the transfer portal before we need to replace Eddie if we aren't seeing the development that we want.
Not going to lie- I wanted to win this one pretty badly. But it's not a huge speed bump.

over the next few seasons. will advance his development considerably. working out with high end, older wrestlers will only make him even better than he is now.
