I think that's the Spire guy and he's really not a bad guy but this interview was messed up. Way better ways to approach his relationship with Bo and give him a chance to talk about it if he's comfortable with it. Melvin handled that with all class, seems like a great kid as always.

1st and foremost, Congrats Melvin on being a great human being and answering these stupid ****ing questions from a guy who is carrying on the "scumbag journalist" stereotype. "Does Bo's attention make you jealous"? WTF kind of question is that. Probably a lifelong Iowa fan trying to sew division amongst the hokie's. Planting the seeds now to invite a transfer to Iowa in a couple years. Melvin, If i was you(you are much bigger man than i), I would have said yeah, you were my first ever interview and you JUST GOT YOUR LAST. Serisously, the guy put the child on the spot with personal questions about his family all but forcing him to admit his parents got divorced etc.etc. These interviewers should be ignored.

when he asked Melvin questions about why he hasn't changed his last name after being adopted and whether he will change his last name. Those are super-personal questions and totally inappropriate to throw into this type of interview.

attempting to compliment Mevlin for handling the Bo Bassett Bonanza by pointing out his quiet nature and genuine happiness for Bo. But his bro approach interviewing Melvin was way off base in my opinion. Could have and should have handled that in a much more professional manner.
