be in during the 4th quarter sooner. She would have been good for potential offensive rebounds, drawing fouls against ND. But to say she was outcoached badly is just not true. I coached for 20 years and I know that I don't have puppet strings to control player decisions. She could tell them not to pass into a semi-crowd..... she could tell them to not let Hidalgo tip a rebound out of Suffren's hands, but she can't snap a finger and turn into robots.

VT adjusted really well to how the game was flowing. We just had a mixture of forced and unforced and uncalled foul errors all together that added up to the benefit of ND tonight. We will continue to learn and improve and be even better by tournament time.

That game was lost in 3rd quarter when the better coach made adjustments and made it physical ball! And we had little response.

Half. We’ve got to due a better job of handling it but refs have to do there jobs and call fouls especially the obvious ones. 30 could be called for a moving screen every play. Carleigh gets slapped in face on a steal (no call)Carleigh gets bodied out of bounds on a drive ( should have been and 1) no call, players get run through on 50 /50 balls, and Carleigh also got a two arm shove to the floor in front of refs with no call. Yes you have to handle it better but the refs have to do better than calling 1 of every 4-5 fouls. I honestly feel this is why the women’s game has gotten so physical, crappy officiating that allows the games to get nearly out of hand.
