Doing nothing is probably the worst thing any team or conference can do, unless you are assured invitation to Big10 or SEC. It's only a matter of time until another valued property is plucked, and you must protect what's left. The PAC, Big12 and ACC collectively still have A TON of value when combined... but are too weak on their own. Remember, the SEC and Big10 have tons of mediocre programs and are geographically concentrated, but they are leveraging their TV deals to pluck the highest valued remaining teams. Form a true alliance to stop any further poaching, and let's see how USC and UCLA are doing in 10 years as they'd be very isolated playing mid-west. The following makes assumptions the super conference below could stick together (as well as get out of the ACC GOR - which I guess is doable since enough teams agree to abandon the ACC).
