big 12 tv deal

I admit it might be hard to do with 28. isn't part of the reason the Big 12 deal is bad is because of the longhorn network? There really was not a big 12 network because of the longhorn one. isn't that ultimately what killed off the previous big 12? the longhorn network was a huge disadvantage for the big 12 and that is no longer an issue. I am not saying this third conference is going to make as much as the big 1o and sec from the get go, but there is probably more potential in the future. It may never close the gap, but could better than life in the SEC and certainly better than life without the ACC or SEC or Big 10, Also, i believe the current 10 members of the big 12 get 200 million to split, while the current ACC has 240 split between 14?

Should Big 12 and Acc merge and make the first "super" conference?

yeah
vtka93 07/04/22 05:53 PM ET
That should generate about $10M per school per year**

no way

Given the current situation I think maybe you create a super-conference...

I'm more interested in the Pac12 schools than the BigXII, but we'll see

Old Line Hokie 07/04/22 03:37 PM ET
Sure, but it isn't realistic. None of those SEC or B10 teams are leaving.

sounds like more noise about b12 gobbling up some pac12

May be a "super conference" based on volume, but not quality...**

Agree. ACC media deal was greater than the BigXIIs when they had Texas and
