No doubt, although strange bedfellows. I really think the Mag 7+1

will likely leave the ACC for the P2, maybe even be announced in 2029. I think the tide may have turned to UVA and UNC to the B1G more than the SEC right "now". Way better fit as far as Academics (to keep some faculty happy), getting northern out of state students who will pay more, more money earned than the SEC athletically, competing in other sports, and the B1G has won 3 straight National Championships in football with 3 different schools. However, now that Virginia Tech is off the sideline and ready to step up again with money and hires, and I think the SEC has been the better fit for athletics. So honestly I could see Virginia Tech and Notre Dame continuing our upcoming matchups. Our AD recently said, that some schedules will change, but was adamant about us keeping the Notre Dame games. All that said, things change so fast, it could all turn on a dime and here comes the Super League as a P1.🤷‍♂️ ** Edited by Stech at 2/12/2026, 2:43:54 PM
