Has anyone here ever eaten a banana that just locked up your insides?
I had a banana with breakfast yesterday, and it sat in my stomach like a rock all day. Then it got to my large intestine and felt the same, only worse. Then when it got to my small intestine, the fun really started. Cramps, waves of pain. I slept about 3 hours last night, punctuated with painful cramps that woke me up every 30-45 minutes. It's 5:30 the next day, and I'm still not right. The pain is mostly gone, but there's still some discomfort. We've got two bunches of bananas in the kitchen, and I'm scared to touch any of them.

Here's your problem, your digestive tract is plumbed backwards! Your large
intestine is before your small intestine. It's the other way around for most people. 😆

Sometimes a banana in the tailpipe can stall your whole system.

I think your problem may be your intestines were installed backwards. Most
people have small intestines first on the journey : ) As for bananas, ripe ones help you go, green ones do the opposite. No idea why.

Green bananas are rich in resistant starch and fiber
Good for gut health, but eat in moderation.

I think the fiber is in the ripe ones, not the green ones.

Did you consume it quickly and possibly not chew it up well?

Not really. It was a little green though.

I think it's about 99.37% that the banana was not your problem

How do you know the banana was the culprit? Did you eat the tarantula?
The banana may have been pushing the real obstruction through your system. Which may or may not have been a tarantula.
