I'm all for breaking the mold but I can't actually get behind this one...looks ridiculous

Looks like something out of cheesey 70's science fiction. Somebody near
me has one of these ugly things. If not for the stupid looking headlights it would look fine

Dad had a late 70s early 80s Ram 2500. Light yellow, wood grain sides.
Thing was a boat. I learned to drive in that. Hated it then, would love to have it now. High beams button on the floor and all.

The late 70s F150s were sharp too.

I had friends with broncos and wagoners that
Couldn’t give them away because they set money on fire with repairs. Know they are premium collector cars.

Brakes were always mush, steering always had play, rear end went out on it
when I was on Price's Fork in the burg

Exactly. Broke my heart when mine got totaled two years ago ...
and it was basically a scam. Truck was in great condition with 130k miles on it and insurance said it was totaled because they had to replace the bed due to one minor dent. However, I didn't want a salvage title on the vehicle so I had to take the cash. I guarantee you someone got a great deal on that truck and is still driving it.

I’d have kept it with a salvage title - I have no plans to sell mine 😎👍🏻
vt90 vt90
My plan was to give it to my son when he graduates (in 3 weeks) ...
and I didn't want to burden him with a salvage title. Otherwise I would have kept it for sure.

As a young man, I hated any extended/king/double cab look...
As an old man with 2 teenage kids and two big dogs, I've learned to deal. This is my current "family car"....also pretty easy on the eyes, if I do say so...

Went with access cab - for bigger bed (TWSS)

Had to wait but got the extended cab and long bed. Checks all the boxes.
