parked next to Sonny and Sam Huff's cart before the start. My partner and I talked to them for twenty minutes and they were the two nicest guys you ever met.

coaching gig was in Wilmington,N.C. coaching the Wilmington H.S. JV squad. (around 1950). His QB was Sonny J.

glue. They were a mean duo. Was forced to watch those Skins games after the Roanoke station stopped carrying my Colts.

remember him as a kid; terrific, terrific QB. Remember him leading the Skins from behind to beat Don Shula's Bob Griese-led Dolphins just a year after they lost to the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. Game was in RFK stadium, the crowd there went wild and so did everyone in living room .
