Mark Richt was no longer an "A" list coach when he was fired after b2b 10-3 seasons because that just not good enough at A list schools**. Where did he land?...B list job...Miami. Yes, the ACC is plan B.
I REALLY think JF's record against the top 10 is going to be a problem for him at a top SEC school. I don't think they want another Mark Richt. Certainly its possible with a limited talent pool, but I think its a problem.
I think there's decent reason to believe he lands at a high B list program....Ole Miss, Arky, FSU, or maybe even a VT.
**CAVEAT: Texas. I think that's an A list job that is really unpredictable. I could see them liking JF.

From an extremely well connected source, I have been told that Stoops (UK) was in town last week and Franklin has been in town this week. Does not mean either will be our next head coach, but obvious both have interest.
