Have you all seen the ACCs explanation on call?
First off, you don’t review something that long and it’s indisputable (as I’m sure has been mentioned). Can someone confirm that if a UM player touches the ball while out of bounds (even though controlled by VT), the play is dead? It was all about kissing UMs Axx and trying to get them into the playoffs.
What a joke!

when the ball was touched by the UM player that was out-of-bounds? If so, it should be dead. They're covering themselves by saying it was a loose ball but was it?

No way was it indisputable evidence!
Total crock!

Felton caught it. He was sitting on the ground in the end zone with the ball in his arms. Touchdown.
Whatever the DB did after that is irrelevant. The ACC points out he was out of bounds. Then they insanely try to argue that, because he then touched the ball, it's an incomplete pass? That is the most ludicrous and asinine and completely WRONG "explanation" I've ever read.

it loose after Felton was already in possession of the ball, sitting in bounds, in the end zone, with the ball in his arms. That's a catch.

Ball during a catch with the receiver in bounds its incomplete? That happens frequently. As long as the receiver gains possession in bounds its a catch. They never call that.

Why don't I just have my defensive backs run out of bounds on every pass near the sidelines, if they can just get a finger on the ball, presto, incomplete pass, play's over

The ACC is in a very bad spot in the power conference arms race. They need to try and stay relevant.
As soon as the call went to review it was always going to end up in favor of Miami. Too much at stake. We were the sacrifice. If we had been 3-1 or 4-0 and also ranked then maybe it would have gone our way.

Hold. Why, it is enough to get you to believe in grand conspiracies.

every fan base (other than Miami and UVa) in America right now is saying we got hosed. It just showed that the conference is not capable of making correct decisions. I was all for trying to save this conference but now I hope it burns to the ground.
