Since the NIT is like a non-playoff Bowl game, a lot of players don't want to play in them anymore. I think the forces against got too big with Lawal -NBA dreams, Bedford -?, Hansberry -out, Johnson - rest is better, Neo - needs a break. This team was completely deflated by that last loss. This scenario fell short over and over again last night! No creative plays when it's your last game? Glad we're moving on!

You can't body slam and drive your full body weight down into them. Neither happened on that play! He just got hit hard.

But we somehow, someway found a way to win that game - Poetic justice!

He should have been allowed to use the 2nd timeout after the call was changed but he still had one that he didn't use. Can break tackles, drive the pile, and outrun everybody. Can do any or all in the same play! He's got a very quick burst that just outran BC esp. in the first few yards downfield.

Wear layers/gloves and know that the game wasn't over! I was fine - it was chilly, not terrible. I DID upgrade my seat though!

Key moments - just before halftime, we call timeout with 20 secs left instead of letting the clock run down. Love hit the 57 yarder. We squib kick the KO, which was returned to the 47. The squib backfired. They kick a 56 yarder. WE SHOULD HAVE KICKED IT DEEP for a touchback or let the clock run down before our FG. We CAN'T ALLOW THEM TO SCORE THERE! - Trying the fake FG on 4th and 3 after the long Int return. We HAVE TO TAKE THE POINTS THERE! Can't take that chance after the big play. The O-line got blown-up badly on that play. Don't know if we get a 1st down regardless. We REALLY needed those 3 points. At the end, a FG would have won it if we had gotten that. - Pry's game management shows that he doesn't know how to win these games. 6 - 9 point swing there.

when the ball was touched by the UM player that was out-of-bounds? If so, it should be dead. They're covering themselves by saying it was a loose ball but was it?

Kidd and Poteat - both transferred in and would be 5th yr guys. Don't think either would make the NBA. They wouldn't even have the option to transfer w/o the Covid yr. Pedulla - is half out based on his own statement. John Camden - marginal player at best in this conf. MJ Collins - no idea. Rodney Rice - to UMD, close to home but why did he wait until the season started? Hopefully Pedulla will return and we get some good replacements but can't help but wonder if CMY is not connecting well with his players or they're not connecting well with each other. We'll see how the dust settles.
