Been on X a lot this morning and seeing a lot of posts like this. Thoughts
ACC schools that have contacted B12 in the past 20 hours: VT, Pitt, Cuse, NCST, GT, Miami, Louisville, BC, Wake. There is a LOT of fear and a lot of smoke. There’s also possibly enough votes to dissolve the GOR according to some of those conversations.

No one is dissolving the GOR to go to the BigXII. BigXII propaganda is
embarrasing really. BTW, ESPN and Fox would LOVE if the ACC broke up so that the best brands could go to the SEC or B1G while everyone else goes and finds a home in what will soon be a G5 conference.

right now the ACC holds the only power over the TV/P2 because there are several football "rainmakers" or potential national football rainmakers still tied to the ACC. B12 has nothing.

the Big 12 propaganda machine shifting in to high gear again. They are very good at stirring the waters to promote the future of their G5 pretending to be a power conference agenda.

you're hearing from the lunatic fringe, amplified. Lots of dummies on there shouting their totally uninformed opinions and spreading gossip, rumors, and outright lies. Twitter/X is the 21st century version of giving the village idiot a bullhorn and a stage.

"Dissolve the GOR?" The ACC isn't killing that contract. Only way out is...
...a negotiated settlement.
Do you realize how much money that would take? Where are those ACC schools going to come up with the dollars it would take to talk their way out of the GOR?

It doesn't even make sense if you think about it. "These ACC teams are concerned about life in the ACC without FSU/Clemson so they are going to jump into the Big 12 without Texas and Oklahoma!"

truth to it…. Just pointing out that’s it’s swirling around out there on several social media platforms.
