My nine year daughter brought the latest issue of her elementary school newspaper home today. It contained the results of a student poll for their favorite team: Virginia Tech or Uva. Not even close!

they decided to put the Commonwealth Clash trophy there for the time being until they can identify a place for its permanent Blacksburg home but, thanks for stopping by and showing your concern.

Message There is only 1 state university and their choice is Va Tech.
UVA feels they dont need any outreach, they are elite and not 'open' to many in the commonwealth.

very early on and build relationships with them, their parents, their uncles, handlers etc etc. He knows what he is facing and he knows what he and the staff have to do to make this happen. He did it at PSU and the plan and relationship building has begun. Fans will just need to be patient. Pry knows what he needs to do and from what I’ve seen. He has started laying the building blocks to success.

Tech may attract more football fans. But if you look at athletic/non-athletic and academic/non-academic, I think tech and UVa have similar percentages. Until
