The rating you see above is a composite, and for someone like Avdalas, the composite is going to be lower than a typical 5-star because some outlets either dont rank or have yet to rank overseas recruits. Avadalas is undoubtedly the highest ranking VT basketball recruit to have ever come to VT. Including Dell Curry, including DFS. He will be a Top 16 recruit on 247 at the very least, but likely closer to Top 10. McDonald's invites 24 All-Americans to their game, some of which are not ranked in the Top 25.
