and break out sophomore year. Look at Stieg as a prime example - I could see Kulik in particular having a big breakout. Cowen as a lefty who throws strikes and can spin it, can fit in quickly in a high level bullpen as a soph. I posted last season I thought that we had the best group of freshmen pitching I could remember (many years) and we are seeing that group get absolutely pillaged. think Yagesh and Berzonski can fill the role this year, but keep in mind our program is still built on HS recruits as our best players. Losing guys like Marciano, Kulik and Cowen will really hurt in 2027 season, not as much this year, but when our HS recruits like Renfrow, Stieg, Crowl and Clement potentially/likely leave for draft. We fill out with transfers but our best should be the HS guys.
