But he didn’t look like someone that was ready for ACC competition next year. Maybe UVA is taking a flier on him with the hopes he can make a jump by his junior year. He might also have some value as a very situational left on left pitcher as he has a tough arm slot and breaking pitch that could be effective if he can locate it better.
