I took Introduction to Slide Rule...
back in the late 70s. I found it very difficult, especially for a 1-hour credit. The Dean of Engineering taught the class, but his name slips me? Was it Torgeson back then?

Not following your point as they don't
use the portal. Both QBs have been 5 star recruits from high school rankings. No portal QBs since TL. It's a lot easier to buy a good QB nowadays......if you use the portal / have good NIL money.

Why in this day of the portal, do you think they can't
find a good QB? I mean uva did. The thought that if VT spends some money, we can upgrade to a decent QB. Are you not in that camp?

You would like to think that
these two new coordinators will be improvements over Bowen and Marve. Recruiting has me still worried. Pry's hoping these two new guys will gel and it seems like everything coming together will be a tough ask, especially when we're heading towards make-or-break season possibly. If that's the best he could do, then that tells you what others think about Pry and the VT jobs. Pry has attached his wagon to this. I hope it works out for everyone.
