The JMU game was set for 9/26, that is now BC. The set dates for the non-conference games would not have moved unless the was no other option as that might cause other teams to have to change dates also. The game was canceled so a 9th ACC game could be added, so that is likely what would have taken the place of VMI. The dates for the ACC games had not been set at that time, so if the was a matchup with another ACC team that was possible, that is likely what would have happened.

When you drive out has the remote been in a cold car and when you return the remote is in a warm car? Might me the warmer remote is giving the battery just enough more chemical reaction to work but does not when cold. Prior to 43 Radford was a Teacher College, was made part of VPI in 43 as part of a consolidation of state colleges. At the time Radford was all female and VPI was all male. Then at some point women could start at Radford and then could "transfer" to VPI in their 2nd year.
