They played an 11-game schedule back then, and there were no conference title games.
I guessed DeChristopher because he was a 4-year starter who played 12 regular season games per year plus a few ACC Title games.

VT was in the ACC Championship game 4 of 5 years, so think that has to be the most games possible to have been in so far.
