Bo on the mat elevates VT
How is he managing in our room? Does he get along with Caleb and other teammates, really?? I'd like for his pace and hand fighting skills to rub off on others.

He has high energy and massive gas tank.
Very similar to how Seidel wrestled so strong this year. Henson has always had a massive gas tank but only slightly less aggressive. Gaj can be included in this group of guys that just want to score early and often. I just hope they don't hurt each other during practice, but man oh man what a group to train with.

It's going to be pure excitement
Eddie, Seidel, Bo, Caleb, Gaj. Really impressive first 5 if that is how it goes. Does anyone on this board know if Nininger or Gaj could be viable at 65? From what I watched, Gaj is a 57 going 49 or can definitely not have to suck down as much. Is Noah big for the weight or will he wait until Caleb graduates to get in? Just thinking future especially when Melvin comes, who is a 57/65 imo. I think Burton can go 65/74. Desiante or Bullock at 84, and Sonny, Jimmy on the back. I'm jacked to see this team go. VT will be a big storyline next season.

Next year
Yes, 125 will continue to be as if you're watching paint dry, then the real possibility of a series of TFs.

Really think there will be a push to change Eddie's approach next year
I get the old dog, new tricks concept, but I think the results in the Nationals and to a certain extent the ACCs had to have left an impression...

Once Noah was locked in for a redshirt he started adding size.
If he grows a bit more he could make 165. I think he was over 160 by the end of the season. I doubt we see him down at 149 again.

I'm selfish, SOMEHOW we need to get Campbell in the mix if healthy

I want Campbell, Gorman and Nininger in the mix
But there is just no way to fit everyone. Seidel seems like someone that will need to bump to 141 eventually. I hope we can keep Campbell- otherwise 133 will be a hole when that happens. That will bump Bo up, and have Gaj and Nininger competing for 157. A 165 bulk job doesn't really help anyone after this year with Melvin coming in imo.

Where can Gorman fit into the lineup?

He probably doesn't
But if Seidel does hold 133 and Bo bumps to 149, he could slot at 141. Or bump to 149 if Bo stays down, and Gaj/Nininger outgrow 149. Could he get down to 133 possibly? Who knows. Injuries, transfers, and weight changes can be hard to product. I don't think many would have predicted Mac to 165.

I think the opposite of Gaj
Remember. He was getting worked at 157 at the National Duals

Definitely is currently a 49. An offseason bulk could change that though

Agreed
I thought he was an eventful 65 coming in, and still think he has the frame for it, but he performed so much better down at 49.

He was good at 49 but won't be in the lineup there again imo
Obviously Caleb and or Bo will run that throughout his tenure. I guess Bo could go 41 for a few years but I doubt it. Bo won't have any trouble with 41 next year imo if that is where he lands but 49 for his last few seems likely. Like you guys said, Seidel will go up, giving DC 33 if he holds that. Gaj will have to put on strength or 57 so maybe a redshirt next year and Noah gets in. I am unsure of his size but I'm sure there is a plan. Them Melvin comes and more to figure out but good problems. ** Edited by VTwinsdad at 3/29/2026, 1:22:59 PM
