I was gathering up my deliveries for the day, drove a truck delivering
plumbing supplies from a warehouse on Van Dorn st....admin lady came into the office and simply stated that Len Bias had died the night before...
Can still see her face and hear the words...

Ugh....my favorite college player up until that time...
I was a Celtics fan at the time as well (have given up on the NBA now).
Went to bed dreaming of Bias, Parish, McHale, and Bird...the next day, heartbreak...

Will be happy to be wrong when VT scores 10 in the 5th, but just don't seem to have the bats in Baton Rouge...
