Flo and Intermat updated rankings
No major shifts after the last updates. 165 and 174 are iffy right now for allocations. However both are more than capable of stealing a spot A bonus is we are now ranked a head of the oranges in the final dual ranking. Not bad for an “ off year”. Go Hokies!

As of 2/12 a projection had all but 165 getting an allocation
Found that this guy is pretty good with the stuff. Easiest thing to do is search "allocations" to jump down to the post.

excellent data set. My engineering brain loves it.

Cool
38 projected allocations is good for the ACC. It’s probably close to a record. Adding Stanford was a good move.

If there are too many allocations criteria can get bumped up
I forget the exact thresholds but RPI and Win percentage can both get stricter to reduce allocations and allow for 4-5 at large spots if I'm not mistaken

Correct. There is a base threshold, but its capped at 29 per weight.

Desiante's wrestling has steadily improved over the year.
He's been close to some nice wins recently. Hopefully ACC Championship's is where he can breakthrough. He's got a high attack rate and is getting to legs. Good signs in March.

Desiante is fun to watch
His attack rate and ability to get to legs is impressive. His ability to finish is lacking compared to his quickness, unfortunately. I believe he has another year, who knows if he improves but I like his chances. If he becomes a better finisher and a touch more tank he could be very good. I enjoy watching him wrestle. #edit: I should add, to get to this level he is already very good, I mean R12, AA type good with a little improvement. ** Edited by VTwinsdad at 2/24/2026, 12:56:18 PM ** Edited by VTwinsdad at 2/24/2026, 12:59:09 PM ** Edited by VTwinsdad at 2/24/2026, 1:16:00 PM

Agreed. I counted at least 7 times he got to the legs vs. UNC...
just needs to finish. A lot like Latona from that respect.

Yeah he's got a bit of Brady-itis in him. Grab legs and fail to finish.

More active than Brady (thankfully).

Kind of Church’s issue as well.
