Even acc teams are using this in soccer. Has to be passive. They can be in the US when they get paid. Up to each schools legal department to opine.
Several big East schools used this in basketball when NIL first came about. It’s spread like wild fire.

Similar with Trumble. He needs a knee procedure that will keep him out a while to recover. Hard to imagine him switching schools in the middle of that.
The kids that have announced for the portal (Gill, Horne and Younger Orine) weren’t going to start next year and are likely looking for more mat time somewhere.

Pop and Vince's embrace was great. The NCS starters were going nuts once Vince won it, too. I hope the relationships developed mean enough in which an ACC school could put together a lesser but nice NIL deal and still keep the talent. Robie and Frayer talk about it. I'm sure Pop and his staff are like minded.

Dude, it’s definitely not about money. It’s seems like people always think NIL is what drives these guys. It’s not money can be made anywhere, it’s about the right fit, feeling like the team is home, it’s about the right coaches that you feel will get you over the top and you know have your best always. VR not going anywhere. Having that coach that gets the best out of you.

… We spent time with his entire family (mom, dad, sister, 2 brothers) throughout nationals (sitting in the section next to VT coincidently). Great people from start to finish.
