Would love to know TCU nil budget
One 6'8, three 6'7s , more 6+ players and Oliva Miles and others. Are you kidding me. And WVU is ahead of them going into the fourth quarter. ** Edited by Wade4VT at 3/8/2026, 6:30:07 PM

Congrats to Carleigh and your family
I've watched almost every game for several years. Carleigh is my second favorite Hokie women's basketball player ever. That's rare air. She kept the team together, improved every year, is the teams leader, is awesome when she is on, and knows how to most help her team when she is not on. And she is tough as nails. You've got a winner.

I was hoping that we could lure her back but she took TCU’s money

She was not good at Kentucky
Alot of hype but she didn't seem to be very good at Kentucky the games I saw and Coach Brooks wasn't playing her very much which is probably why she transferred. Doubt he has an issue getting the NIL he wants at Kentucky if he really like someone and thinks there is a future.

I don’t blame her for leaving. She was not going to get PT behind Strack
I think her biggest problem is conditioning. Her numbers per minute at TCU aren’t bad

I have a feeling if she doesn't get it within the next few years she
will be coaching at another program. She is a great coach. She is going to be on the top of many program's lists, especially in a few years. Good programs at that. Maybe even just after a couple of years.

Somehow Brooks was able to offer Silva enough. Her agent probably wised up
to the value of a 6’ 8” player

Yeah but that was before we hired Franklin
We may have less NIL money now for basketball on both sides.
