these type info posts is not hard to find the info yourself. Like I have said for years, few calls or texts can get you the same info. Never had any problems If I wanted to be..............

at risk. I can recall no other injury in VT sports history that wasn’t disclosed. Maybe minimized a bit.

designed to protect against discrimination. eg AIDS. Somebody might not want to employ you if they found out you were disabled It doesn't really seem to apply here talking about sports injuries but it could. Also great information for people that bet on the game so they're caught up in either not reporting anything or reporting everything. Former is easier.

obligation to disclose their injuries to the public, as it's their private health info. Coaches don't disclose the injury without the athlete's consent. It takes time, multiple tests, multiple Drs, multiple specialists, to determine type of injury, rehab, how long will be out, etc, but eventually they do disclose the injury.

I know that when I used to go to wrestling practices and pick up info including injury info from the coaches, I would never unilaterally post that information.
