I had never noticed it until Saturday, but VT and uva have the same exit
numbers from the interstates, 118B.

Yep.
They reworked that interchange a few years ago because they had so many accidents when it was more of a true cloverleaf. It still can be an issue though. I suspect they will rework it again whenever they replace the bridge again.

That is the most Palmer Park will ever host and UVa wasn’t there! Love it!

In this part of the state (Harrisonburg) Staunton is the edge of the earth.
Nothing exists past there. Growing up in SWVA anything north of Roanoke was all north.

What people don't realize is that Roanoke is almost Central VA. Cumberland
Gap is further west than Detroit .

It wasn’t close; FSU had maybe 200-300; Hokies the other 1800 or so
