I don't care if she gets another hit this year but.....
Through 2 weeks, guess who leads the nation in hits, Doubles, Total bases, and total runs scored? The kid told she would never see the field defensively playing center field and making layout superwoman grabs. The kid told to look into a D3 or a JUCO school. It won't last forever, but it is kind of funny right now. And I will still be here rooting for all of the girls that Emma played with last year.

I know I am - she was/is an awesome young lady and an exciting player to watch.
Sometimes a change of scenery works out great for a player.
I always liked Kate Kobayashi, who hit .455 (5 for 11) for the Hokies in 2020. But she wanted to be a regular starter and decided to transfer to Miami (OH). BEST MOVE EVER!
She has hit .357 (2021), .317 (2022), .312 (2023), and is currently hitting .389 for the Redhawks. She has started 140 games for Miami and she would tell you that the transfer was the best thing that ever happened to her. And no one is happier for her than I am.
I sincerely hopes Emma has a similar path and I hope I get to watch her play at some point.

She is definitely killing it so far this year. Congrats to Emma and you.
Wishing her all the success in the future. VT obviously saw something in her to recruit her, but the outfield was stacked I guess. So as it turned out, she now gets immediate playing time at the top of the order to showcase her talents, and man is she showcasing! WOW!

You bring in a transfer and stick them in right field. That may end up being a great move, but as of today it isn't panning out too well.
