I know I am - she was/is an awesome young lady and an exciting player to watch. Sometimes a change of scenery works out great for a player. I always liked Kate Kobayashi, who hit .455 (5 for 11) for the Hokies in 2020. But she wanted to be a regular starter and decided to transfer to Miami (OH). BEST MOVE EVER! She has hit .357 (2021), .317 (2022), .312 (2023), and is currently hitting .389 for the Redhawks. She has started 140 games for Miami and she would tell you that the transfer was the best thing that ever happened to her. And no one is happier for her than I am. I sincerely hopes Emma has a similar path and I hope I get to watch her play at some point.
