Some will struggle despite going undefeated and bring doubt into one’s mind or even if you win it feels like a loss because you played so poorly. I like the fact we took care of business and left no doubt. Some top 25 teams will struggle with their “easy” weekend, we did not.
Plus the only reason you might be highlighting it is because it has the spotlight due to opening weekend. If this happened 3 or 4 weeks from now, I bet you aren’t saying that.

We have an incredibly tough schedule. Always do. You might look at it
before posting about our tuneup games.

. . . either way. It's a long season. The competition was bad but it was a chance to get the some nice warm-weather reps, especially, for the true freshman starters. Looking at the overall schedule, it is going to be important to beat LSU and Alabama at least once each to have some cushion with regard to hosting in May.

A few years ago
3) we play top 16 Bama 2x, top 10 LSU 2x, NWestern, Penn St, Kentucky & Liberty OOC
We have FSU, Stanford Louisville ND & Cal in ACC play
Our schedule will be fine
Yeah they’re warm up games but everyone has a few of these
