Interesting take on realignment by a soon-to-be fomrer PAC 12 team site..
I think there are some good points made here, but nothing perfect. Gives ESPN a lot of power.....

per Siracusa.
Well, there aren't "deals" plural. If that were the case, the voting provisions in the ACC Bylaws would be pointless. I do think he's conflating the language in GOR and the media deal. A very long media agreement would logically have a competitive revenue clause for periodic look-ins, etc.
If ESPN comes back and says, "here are the numbers, we are paying you market value for your conference, your membership and internal revenue distribution formula is your problem". Then we're back to square 1 and the problem we've all realized forever...too much dead weight in the conference.
They simplest way out of the GOR is 10 votes. See if members can cut enough OOC scheduling and TV deals (guarantees for appearances on ACCN/SECN/BTN/PACN) with Duke and Wake to get their votes. They are done in 2036 anyway.

Kinda pretentious. You know. Giving Pac-10 schools advice on your way out.
USC has always been my favorite of the blue bloods. But this just reeks of the University of Spoiled Children.
And if the plan is so great, why didn't USC stay with their Pac-12 brethren and forge this deal?
USC just comes across as weak in all this if you ask me. Coming to the B1G, but only being able to bring along one Pac-12 partner, and not being able to persuade Notre Dame to come along. Hardly a baller move.

because this deal is not as great as the big 10 one. good is not excellent

Of course it's not. But the USC reporter should have the self awareness to
STFU. Just take the bag of money and move along.

clue on where all the teams will end up. Too many articles are wish list for Arkansas basketball or the schools near Raleigh. What is the Carolina Schools record in football since Virginia Tech joined the ACC?????? Yet the Raleigh writer says Virginia Tech is third tier for football expansion. That's just ridiculous.

Or maybe big airports and the latest and greatest fiber networks? Does the location of NCSU, Duke and UNC in the triangle give them an advantage over Montgomery County/NRV in the eyes of the movers and shakers of this realignment?
(In response to this post by Stech)
Virginia Tech is 39-10 vs. the State of North Carolina
VT vs. The Old North State
5-1 vs. NC State
14-4 vs. UNC
15-3 vs. Duke
5-2 vs Wake

If they did that then Notre Dame would be gone. I see this happening only if ND decides to go to Big 10. Otherwise, ESPN will do whatever it can to get Notre Dame either in ACC or SEC.

and am not sure they would do anything to push them to the big 10. That is why i believe the new expanded playoffs will give ND access as an independent, so they are in no hurry to do anything

and make note of the idiot writers and predictors. That will save you time in the future from taking them seriously, particularly someone like the "UCLA Insider living in Charlotte."

It was made very clear at the beginning that this is no prediction at al
And i do agree with you on the Tony Siracusa part in that I think they made it seem easier to break overcome than it is. BTW he is not just some guy he is the managing editor of the last word on college sports.
But there is some logic to what they said

and my comment was more laughing at a UCLA insider living in Charlotte, however, not really much impressed with the Last Word on College Sports either. Things have changed in the media world to nowadays people have to consider the sources and writers before deciding to invest their time in reading and considering the actual story. There are more clickbait *****s today than ones even resembling respectable journalists. My apologies to Canzano as well. He and Wilner are not clickbait *****s and should not be linked with the others either.
