A head coach has to take the bull...
By the horns and make decisions across the board. If coaches and players dont like it, too bad. Pry comes across as someone who isnt able to do that. He sounds like a soldier, not a general. The team has run over him since he's been here. Its jmo from a distance. You can't come to a press conference after that performance and not be threatening everyone involved. If you do, being the head man may not be for you.

If they can get up against Vandy and beat them, in a few weeks they ll be..
in or close to the top 25. Vandy is a very big game. The Hokies can beat anyone left on the schedule.

I like that he has a decent jump hook
something most US big men don't have. Get him the ball near the basket and it looks like he can deliver. Definitely an upgrade over Wessler imo. He moves and shoots better.

And honestly the teams aren't very good. When they eliminate the Acc that's
the teams that have always beat them. Nothing much left but G5's after that.

I like this hire. NFL coaches speak highly of him.
Some of the things NFL coaches say about him.He's young, energetic and smart, an innovator able to come up with ways to stop offenses.Mike Zimmer, a great young coach, one of the best I ve ever been around, a rising star.

I think a DC has been hired but have no idea who it is. I'm just guessing.
Pry looks too happy or unconcerned in his recruiting pictures. A guess but I think the hire has been made.

The Big 10 is wrong in this, it looks like to me.Wisconsin wouldn't let....
him enter the portal when he requested it in time. They claim he had signed a contract. It looks like the Big 10 has come up with a plan to get guys to sign a paper making them think they can't leave. What they are signing is something that's not law or legal now. It's dependent on congress voting whenever they do and on it going a certain way. So they are getting them to sign a bogus document. Of course the big 10 backs it knowing it's not legal. It looks like a scheme to keep from losing players. They are claiming Miami tampered with him too. I guess that gives Wisconsin the right to hold someone against their will. These are my thoughts after listening to the podcast I could be wrong.
I'm by no means an expert. I heard this on a Miami podcast. Hooked on Cane's. He explains a lot of the situation.

The Big 10 has never been great and the Sec...
is falling back to earth. The only thing that props them up are the networks. Bama isn't coming back to dominating anytime soon and Ole Miss and Tenn have mostly been also ran's that ESPN now wants us to believe are national powers.

The coaching at some of the positions has to be bad.
The DB's are nothing special. Missed tackles, blown assignments. They are sooo soft,which is a reflection on coaching. The Wr's the same. Dropped balls and still trotting the guy or guys out. Too soft to win in Big time football. It's romper room in Blacksburg. Jmo

If they had a point guard that could handle the ball better the team would
be decent going forward this year. They are getting better. Unfortunately the PG made too many turnovers in the last 4 minutes yesterday. Hammond can hopefully progress to getting more minutes or Steiner improves.

The P2 only allowing 5 Acc teams into the tourney....
while they get 8 and 9 can't be good for Acc recruiting. You are correct, they are trying to kill off Acc basketball too.

They wouldn't tolerate his costly turnovers game after game I'm sure. He's
one that didn't bother me leaving. Unfortunately I didn't realize no one would be brought in to replace him. I do like what I see out of Hammond's so far.

Who is leaving that can't be replaced? Next man up let's see how the
younger guys do. Plus they have the portal which they are working.
APR is a big loss, the others imo can be replaced.

that are not on TV. The networks are promoting the G5, has nothing to do with the Acc.

Look at the NFL experience the BC staff has. Pry is a first time HC....
Working with first time coordinators. I understand this is year 3 and things have to improve. If they don't at least both coordinators have to go at the end of the year.
