When the AD cites, "we are committed to be a program of championships" however appears we are not sounds like our public relations/ branding seems to be not in sync.

Fans want to hear something good. They are slow to compare those statements to reality.

If your main yardstick is winning the ACC and then getting trounced in the playoffs, I guess that's possible. But even as VT struggles within the ACC, the top of the college football world is pulling away.

Those 2 football programs have a large advantage over VT and the rest of the ACC (I don't buy into UNCheat).
