My immediate reaction was “No”, however, “Maybe.”

I say “Maybe” if conferences are still under the delusion that college teams bring in TV viewers in either NY and/or Boston. It was maddening that during ACC expansion, they thought NYC would care about Syracuse and Boston would care about BC. Those are pro team cities who could care less about particular college teams. DC is the same way. I bet viewership in DC/NOVA is higher for VT (and maybe UVA) games than MD games. BTW - at the time I couldn’t believe MD was making the move to the B10 - now it seems like a genius move. Still scratching my head why the leagues would take either them or Rutgers. Finally, why do so many pundits think the B12 is better than the ACC? Personally, I think the ACC is way above the B12 and a solid 3rd league-wise.’
