The BE and the ACC......

both screwed up the opportunity to get Penn State. Tranghese was an idiot to let the small, private, catholic basketball schools continue to drive the bus when anyone with more than cow dung between their ears could see football was going to drive the bus. Until Larry Scott spectacularly unseated him Mike Tranghese was by far the most useless conference commissioner ever. His daddy Dave Gavitt gave him the keys to a Porsche and he drove it into a ditch before he got out of the driveway.
