The SEC goes for rivalries not markets, the B1G goes for markets 2 models,

one wins Football National Championships and gets phenomenal ratings. One gets good ratings, but not National Championships. Why do so many people keep saying it’s all about big markets when the SEC Schools are mainly in smaller markets?

Possibly because the B1G/Fox were adding NYC and Wash/Baltimore
