No one was turned down. I don't think CAL and Stanford

ever made a phone call, at least none that were reported. They may have talked over the weekend, but there isn't a blank check on the pro rata. It was also reported that the B12 presidents voted to give Yormack the ability to go to 18, but I think that was typical click bait, as I haven't seen any follow up in the media. Cal and Stanford will not end up in the B12 IMHO. They will not ask for an invite, and THAT is the reason they are in the position they are in. The second a school thinks they are better than another, athletically, academically, socially, or by any measure, they have lost their way as an educational institution. Every University or college strives for academic excellence, down to the community colleges.
