While the ESPN contract payout would remain the same to the other schools, the ACC Network payout would decrease because WV's population is smaller than Idaho's and is dropping. The addition of WV's cable subscribers would generate less revenue than what each school's ACC Network payout is now, so every school would get less money. The addition of WVU would bring in about $5M a year to the ACC Network, split that in half, and they would bring in $2.5M a year. With the schools receiving about $10M a year, the other schools would get about a half million less per year from the ACC Network to give WVU a full share of the ACC Network revenue.
