random thoughts

The remaining PAC schools need to not panic- i.e. rashly get into bed with the B12, when there may ultimately be much better options. The B12 has put on the full court press because they realize they are the odd man out otherwise. It is doubtful the ACC will go (all the way) overnight with the PAC - but it does sound like it behooves the ACC and its networks to help stabilize the PAC for the short term , make a few more bucks for the ACC, and keep open the full monty option you have laid out. I get how like a combined ACC-Pac cant be ignored ever, but I do get a little queasy about what a "conference " like that even means.....playing every in football 2x a decade, playing every one in hoops once every 2 years? But if that is the only way to keep us together with our regional peers/rivals for the long haul - Uva Unc etc, so be it. All things being equal I really hope immediate football success over the next 2-3 years isnt much of a factor in determining one's fate....or yeah, we could be in a precarious situation. ** Edited by Vippie1 at 7/19/2022, 1:20:40 PM

One thing, commissioners dont own the conference its the presidents

goldendomer 07/19/22 01:50 PM ET
In 6 years do you feel ND is in the B1G or still independent?
hokieZ71 07/19/22 02:22 PM ET
Notre Dame would have to decide if football independence

Cable fees in California are pretty nice.

The B1X would have been better served if they had taken 1 CA school...
