Schools in the best position for P2 membership in case the ACC falls apart

which in my opinion is still unlikely. Number 1) schools desired by both the BIG and SEC, the BIG to expand South and the SEC to protect its territory. This would allow them to get full shares by either conference from the jump. 2) cultural and geographic fit, AAU for the BIG and contagious states for the SEC which may include new states. 3) facilities and coaches that have demonstrated that their schools can compete in all sports, especially basketball which is the next most important revenue source for the BIG and basketball and baseball which is important to the SEC. 4) schools that have the capability to raise money to make up for half shares for a number of years if this is part of membership. As others have said on this board, I don't think football will be the driving force for schools (Notre Dame is the only school to meet all these criteria plus football and I do think they will stay independent). Just my thoughts on all the speculation I have heard on this board and You Tube.
