If football breaks away to form it's own entity, it's certainly

possible. As long as Football is part of a Universities athletic department, with all of the rules and regs that come with that, I just don't see it. That being said, the schools changing conferences for football only has got my attention. Who is to say for example, that the top schools of the B12 break away to form a football only conference? Leaving basketball and non revs in the B12? that could be done with any conference. I chose the B12 as an example, so it doesn't appear I'm here to bash the ACC.
