If those kids were not in the athletic department playing

for their respective teams and sports, their NIL value would be NIL. The other kids on that team and in that athletic department makes NIL a possibility. Those that help create the unique environment that college athletics have, work pretty darn hard as well. Cheerleaders, band members, mascots, ... etc. If they are going to pay players, and the legislators get involved, watch out, because pay for play and free agency for more money will be sacrificed for the greater good. At least I hope ......
