As I noted in another post, VT agreed to move its game against Boise State

from Lane to FedEx Field. The late Jim Weaver (JW) was VT's AD at the time and he rarely agreed to something that didn't make VT money. If VT was able to make more money playing Boise State at FedEx than Lane, then VT should be able to duplicate it with the right opponent. In other words it is unlikely VT could do it with ODU or Marshall, but it could do it with WVU, Penn State, and maybe even JMU because JMU gets majority of its VA students from the DMV.
