I agree Floridians enjoy college but that loyalty is not

equally divided. UF and FSU are top tier and with UCF moving to B12 their fan base will grow as more "name" schools come to Orlando. Miami's fan base has shrunk both locally and nationally. 20 years ago I saw folks wearing the U's logo in places one would not expect including East Tennessee and Southwest VA. I now live in Central Florida and I cannot remember the last time I saw anyone wearing a Miami cap or t shirt.
