You can't be sure of that though because no one know what these new rules

will be or what verbiage (including any new verbiage) would be included in the future contracts between Fox and the Big Ten. Also, you can't be sure that Fox and ESPN won't have the leverage during the contract negotiations at some point in the future assuming they are the only networks interested in participating in this version of FBS football and continue to financial support the respective conference networks. Keep in mind that Fox will eventually want the Big Ten to have a member in FL given how many Big Ten fans are relocating to the state and that number will likely only go up with each year. All the more reason for ESPN/SEC to beat Fox/Big Ten to the punch and limit the Big Ten's options. Even if it doesn't end up being UCF and USF, it doesn't mean the Big Ten won't make a decision that is questionable by today's standards, but may make a little more sense by whatever future standard.
