Texas and OU announced June 2021 they were joining the SEC in July 2024

Just 3 years. So completely realistic to see any ACC members state the same now in 2024 to join another league in July 2027. That would force ESPN’s hand for sure. Extend the deal and hold the ACC teams to the GOR through 2036, or fold the deal in 2027, and the conference dies when everybody leaves free of charge in 2027. ** Edited by hokieZ71 at 7/18/2024, 6:24:39 PM
