good post - exactly correct. Format and models for "playoffs" are

everywhere, but the SEC is pushing towards consolidation of power to their league alone while pretending that it's the way to crown a "true" champion. At this point just play each other all year, declare the SEC champion as the national champion, and look down at everyone else.
