I'm not arguing against anything you just posted.

My link to the preseason ESPN SOS ranking was merely to prove a point - that the "enemy" is already setting the stage and manufacturing its narrative. My point remains - the 5+11 model was the only way forward, and, if the ACC and Big 12 are going to put up a fight, then any attempt, but especially attempts by an organization as duplicitous as the SEC, to reward losses for some teams and penalize wins for others must be loudly and repeatedly called out and mocked in every available platform and forum.
